John Shuttleworth
Elsa
Evening: Patrick calls in however I am unable to chat as Sister Elsa had earlier offered a spare ticket to see John Shuttleworth at the Junction. So off I go. This is quiet unique/surreal and an acquired taste with lots of references to a particular era (baby boomers from north probably OK). Nevertheless it made me laugh, the struggle with having two “two open margarine tubs on the go”.
Friday 8th March 2013:

  1. Gamma knife surgery - that's our friend has just had. Apart from having a metal framework attached to his head to keep him still (he's like Tigger - always bouncing around) and allow them to accurately reach the tumours.

It was up in Sheffield but he went up on the Tuesday and was home on the Wednesday - he went to have 2 treated and they found 8! I've seen him since and he's doing good!!

    1. I will need to check Gamma Knife out in relation to what I have along with the Temodar (someone in Germany has been prescribed this for astocytic glioblastoma) and run it by the Oncologist. A friend suggested I check www.clinicaltrials.com
